The Agricultural Division continues to invest in renewable energy.

As part of its energy transition strategy and its commitment to sustainably improving agricultural performance, the Orbis Group’s Agricultural Division continues to invest in renewable energy by equipping the Gazaniol farm with a photovoltaic system with a capacity of 200 kWp. This innovative project reflects the Orbis Group’s strategic vision, firmly oriented towards modernizing agricultural practices through the adoption of innovative and responsible technological solutions.

A structuring investment for the future

With an investment of 1.1 million dirhams, the photovoltaic installation represents a significant step forward. Designed in line with the latest technological standards, it helps cover a substantial share of the farm’s energy needs, particularly those related to irrigation—a highly energy-intensive activity. This strategic choice not only optimizes production costs but also helps stabilize long-term operating expenses in the face of energy price fluctuations.

A strong commitment to energy autonomy and the environment

Beyond its economic benefits, this project reflects Orbis AgroIndustry’s commitment to the ecological transition. By strengthening the energy autonomy of its agricultural infrastructure, the Group actively contributes to reducing its carbon footprint and supports the emergence of a more sustainable and environmentally responsible form of agriculture.
